In Summer the water leve drops too low in Bellenne so that we can see old remainings. Also we can see a small falls called 'Keppa joga'(not UKs) which submerge in these water. That place is a must see place in summer.(reminds you a natural rock fort).

enjoy madi
JablimnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29103318.post-83042612866275192782007-08-27T09:17:00.000+05:302007-08-27T09:17:00.000+05:30Rajesh,You are right... the same road leads to Bel...Rajesh,
You are right... the same road leads to Bellenne.

I hear the struggle of the people who vacated the land whenever i visit my native place from elderly people. painful...

Srik,
Sure!!Aravind GJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13407465585269521044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29103318.post-65033555369394281122007-08-23T13:25:00.000+05:302007-08-23T13:25:00.000+05:30Count me in for ur summer exploration of this plac...Count me in for ur summer exploration of this place :-)Srikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18421471739991501986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29103318.post-76660624431969857422007-08-22T21:46:00.000+05:302007-08-22T21:46:00.000+05:30nice shots. That pic with the bike, road submerged...nice shots.

That pic with the bike, road submerged and the vast expanse of the backwaters is good. There was a road deviating from the Madenur market place and we did walk for some distance on that road when I was there 4 years back. I had heard that that road was a direct connection from Madenur to Talaguppa. This must be it.

Sight of backwaters makes me go sick as nothing comes to my mind apart from the pain and struggle of those people who had to vacate their land.ರಾಜೇಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15252787828493324039noreply@blogger.com
